Most call-blocking services simply hang up on spambots. While this approach can curb their annoyance, it does not actually discourage some of the more persistent ones from calling altogether. YouMail's out-of-service message, on the other hand, does. And the best part is that the call-blocking feature is free. I installed YouMail around the 23rd and the 24th to block a particularly obnoxious social security scammer. They had called me every single day the week before, but since Thanksgiving, they appear to have stopped calling, period. Thank you, YouMail! I will continue to use your service against future scammers.

Good idea At first there were issues adding individuals to custom recordings. Fixed the issue: the individuals phone number can't have a 1 in front of their number. Delete the 1 and it will work perfectly

Impressed It really throws people off when they get greeted by their name. Glad I stumbled across this app. Will be switching to Verizon in a few weeks. I hope this works when I do.
