Who called me from 888-346-XXXX?

8883469202 left a message saying there was an issue with our vivant account. I called and gave them a fake name and they wanted to discuss my account. It's a scam

According to our records there is an issue with your account that requires your attention. I called the actual Vivinth phone number and verified that 888-346-9202 is not any of the numbers that belong to Vivinth. Therefore it is a scam. Also according to Vivinth they would have contacted you through a message in your Vivinth app if there was an actual issue with your account. A screen shot from my visual voicemail received their transcript.

I live in an apartment and have no "home security system" with "Vivint." I've been getting the same recorded voicemail (because I blocked the number) EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last week. But they've been calling every week for months now. My dad died suddenly this weekend and I finally just snapped and called this number to tell the scammers to STOP CALLING. The first thing they did when I called was ask for my name and address... I only gave my first name, and told the Indian guy on the other end about my dad. I said, "I know this is a scam, and you're just trying to make a living, but I NEED you all to leave me alone." He did show SOME remorse, but we'll see if they still keep calling...
